Terms and Conditions
Mail in Repairs
Mail in repairs are subject to terms of shipping and service agreements. All clients must complete a request to repair form prior to shipping devices. Devices shipped without completing this form will not be accepted and will be rejected to ship back to sender. Shipping return addresses must match the request for repair form exactly.
All shipping costs are the responsibility of the client. The type of shipping is the responsibility of the client. iServicePC is not responsible for any damages on arrival from either the client or delivery service provider. Any disputes of damaged devices should be handled with the delivery service provider the client purchased. Damaged items received will not be repaired and returned to the client. iServicePC is not responsible for costs of returns.
Return shipping labels can be purchased by the client and placed into the package. This is the easiest way to return your item. If the client does not provide a return label the cost of return shipping is added to the total balance due. The type of shipping is the responsibility of the client to decide. It is the clients responsibility to look up return shipping costs.
Insurance is highly recommended for any mail in repair and return shipping. We are not responsible for handling or mediating any insurance claims or issues. Please contact your place of purchase for information.
Repair Times
In most cases repairs can be completed within 24 hours. Times of completion depends on the repair requested, material availability, and shipping times if mailed in. Other factors can speed up or delay repairs based on various situations.
Estimated times of repair are not promised. Times provided are usually fulfilled quickly and efficiently. However on rare occasions delays can happen. iServicePC does not have control over delays caused by material shortages, unforeseen repairs, dishonest information provided, Incorrect parts delivered, shipping delays from providers, etc.
Remote Access
Remote work is completed through a client installation to their device. This tool is provided by a third party company and has its own set of terms and conditions. Ask your technician or customer service agent for more information about third party tools.
During a remote repair our technicians will have access to your complete devices storage, programs and settings. Our intentions are to only use what is necessary to complete the repair or maintenance of your device. It is recommended you remove or clear out any personal data information you would like to keep private.
iServicePC is not responsible for any loss of data or corruption when working remotely on your device. Data is recommended to be backed up prior to servicing your device. Some backups can be completed via remote in available situations at an additional cost.
Data
iServicePC is not responsible for any loss of data when repairing or servicing your device. In house or remote work has risk to data loss. It is highly recommended clients backup their data prior to repairs or service. Backup and transfer services are not guaranteed. In most cases backups and transfers are successfully completed. In rare situations data may be lost due to unforeseen circumstances.
Warranty and Guarantee
90 Day Guarantees are only applicable on hardware repairs or installations. Repairs and installations must be made by iServicePC technicians. The workmanship guarantee does not apply to repairs made from other repair shops or DIY (do it yourself) projects. Guarantees are only subject to first time repairs or installations. For a total period of 90 days from the date of completion. Repairs or services completed after 90 days of completion or subject to service fees based on repairs needed. This guarantee does not apply to damaged devices or components by client by mishandling or intentional damage. Components with manufacturer warranties are subject to their terms and conditions. If the fault is due to a defective or under-performed item the client must adhere to the process set in place by the vendor of the component. Guarantees include labor and materials, minus additional costs not included in the original repair. In some situations unforeseen additional repairs may be needed to complete warranted work. The client is responsible to any additional repairs and must agree to services prior to repairs started.
Software services are not guaranteed. Any software service completed is subject to approval and payment prior to release of device to client. Malware security and removal is not guaranteed.
Parts and Accessories
In most cases brand name parts are used for common component repairs. Such as CPU, RAM, GPU, and others. In some instances brand name parts may not be available. In these situations an attempt to use an OEM part is given. In the event brand name or OEM parts are not available due to shortages, out of production or defective status, a replacement to the best quality will be used.
Advice or Information
Advice or information provided by iServicePC staff is considered general information. This is information found by the general public online or in public accessed locations. Any information provided is received at will by the client. We do not offer legal, financial or business advice to clients.
Abandoned and Non-Payment Devices
iServicePC does not house or rent to clients devices. Devices that are left unclaimed by the client for more than 30 days is considered abandoned and subject to ownership by iServicePC. Unclaimed devices are identified as not physically picking up and/or subject to non-payment for services for a period of 30 days or longer. Emails, phone calls and other means of connections do not restart or nullify abandonment terms. iServicePC staff will at its best attempt to reach clients to claim their device. In the event a client abandons their device, the estimated wholesale value of the device will institute as payment and will be deducted from the total balance due on the account. At which point the device will become property of iServicePC.
In the event payment is not received in full within 30 days of the completed work the device will become subject to ownership to iServicePC. The estimated wholesale value of the device will be deducted from the total balance due on the account.
Estimates and Quotes
Free estimates are subject to a limit of 10 minutes of diagnosing time. In the event an estimate exceeds 10 minutes a diagnosis fee may be applied. The diagnosis fee is subject to the complexity of the diagnosis.
Quotes are good for a total of 7 days. Prices are subject to what is written on the quote. Any unforeseen services or non-listed services are at an additional cost. All additional costs must be approved by the client prior to completion.
Loaner Devices
Clients that request and receive a loaner device are responsible for the full retail value of the device. Any loaner device must be returned in the same condition as when granted to the client. Loaners must be returned prior to receiving your personal serviced device. Damaged loaner devices must be paid in full prior to receiving your serviced device. Unpaid for damage to loaner devices may be subject to transferring ownership of the clients device as payment equal to the wholesale value of their device.
VOID Warranty Information
iServicePC is not responsible for any loss or void warranty. During repairs, service stickers, guards and other items may be tampered with in order to successfully complete your service request. You agree not to hold iServicePC responsible for any loss of warranty.
Indemnification
By using our services and connecting with us via communication you agree to not hold iServicePC and its staff responsible for any harm in any way connected or by iServicePC. You also agree to resolve any issues as best as possible between iServicePC and yourself prior to taking further legal actions.
Privacy
By using our website, application, filling out forms or using other means of communication you agree to the privacy terms and conditions listed. We use personal information to fulfill your services and increase our marketing strategy. Information such as your name, address, phone number, device information and other personal information provided via forms, chat, calls, and web use by temporary file and cookies. No information is sold to third party marketing companies. Your information is only used strictly by iServicePC and its affiliates. We use third party software and vendors to contact you via subscription. Please contact us for more information.
Subscription
Enrolling as a subscriber acknowledges you agree to the privacy and subscription terms and agreements. We collect provided information from the client for marketing and operations purposes. To provide promotions, updates, customer connections and general information.
